We have lasered an arrow on the top of the cam pin so the user can always reinstall the cam pin on the carrier in the same orientation. Putting the cam pin in one direction rather then another randomly alleviates uneven wear on the cam pin and it become sloppy and loose in the bolt. When installed in the same direction it leaves less of a chance of the cam pin being worn on both sides thus maintaining a tight fit on the cam pin in the bolt.

MA Cam Pin

It's a cam pin. It does what it does. I purchased this because of the etched arrow, to reinstall it the same way after cleaning, to avoid uneven wear on the pin. Much cheaper than other companies that offer similar parts. Would buy again.
