With 3 picatinny rails in front and rear allow you to mount sights, optics and any other accessories without additional rail sections. Utilizing the Magpul M-LOK system allows users to customize the handguard with rail sections and direct mount accessories.

The handguard is constructed of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and precision machined according to strict AS9100 aerospace requirements, which are more stringent than standard gun manufacturing requirements. Our Handguards are finished with a Mil-Spec Type III Class 2 hard coat black anodizing.

Our Handguards are precision bored to fit the proprietary barrel nut which removes any unwanted play and ensures an exact fit!
Installation requires a 1-3/16" crows foot wrench (included) for the barrel nut; standard AR-15 barrel nut wrenches will not work with this hand guard system. The hand guard is secured to the barrel nut by 2 Allen screws and our proprietary retention system. This retention system keeps the handguard from being removed even if the screws come loose.

Modifications to the handguard voids the warranty.

Great Feel
The Nomad has a great feel to it. Not too skinny, not too bulky. I'm partial to a hybrid style like this; it gives you rails in all the right places, and keeps it thin in all the right places. There is a slight trade-off on my part though. I can't seem to get the perfect combo (for me) between my forward grip and length of rail. The 12" looks good to me, but sacrifices my style of grip. The 15" would solve this issue, but I can't get over having a rail that long on a 16" carbine. It doesn't look right to me. If there was an option in-between those two lengths; say a 13.5", I'd be golden. Overall, it's a great rail with a solid fit, anti-rotation tabs to fit to the upper, and the best style of attachment system. One thing I would change is to add anti-rotation to the QD sling mounts.
