The MA Defense Pinnable Gas Block, our design allows it to be quickly pinned to your barrel. The pre-drilled hole means there is no wasted time by drilling through the gas block. The bottom hole is positioned low enough so only remove the necessary amount of material from your barrel. Since you have to remove less material, pinning the barrel is easier to accomplish with a standard hand drill or drill press. These gas blocks were designed with some pretty tight tolerances, you may have to use a gunsmith hammer to tap it on or heat the gas block to get it you fit your barrel. We always recommend that a competent armorer/gunsmith do the installation.
